BidMonopoly adds a thrilling pre-game auction to your Monopoly session.
Each player receives $1,500 to secretly bid on any properties they want —
before a single die is rolled.
For the Host (Game Admin)

Click Create a Game above. Set the bidding budget and time limit, then generate a room code.

Share the room code with your players — they'll enter it at bidmonopoly.com.

Watch the lobby fill up as players join. Once everyone is in (2–6 players), click Proceed to Launch.

When everyone is ready, hit 🏁 Start Bidding. A 3-second countdown fires on all devices simultaneously.

Monitor the bidding screen. When time is up — or all players have submitted — click Close Bidding to reveal the results.
For Players

Click Join a Game above. Enter the room code your host shared, your name, and pick a color.

Wait for the host to start the auction. You'll see a countdown before bidding opens.

You have $1,500 to bid on any properties you like. Enter any amount next to a property — or leave it blank to skip it.

Keep an eye on your budget tracker at the top — you can't go over $1,500.

Hit Submit My Bids before time runs out. Once submitted, your bids are locked.
Auction Rules

Highest bid wins each property outright.
✓
Tied bids mean neither player wins — the property starts the game unowned.
✓
Unspent money carries over into the main game as starting cash.
✓
All bids are secret until the host closes bidding and reveals results.
Strategy tip: Don't spend it all! Saving some of your $1,500 gives you a cash advantage when the main game begins.
